New features – groups and crossposting

Dear friends, I'm eager to inform you that we've improved our service again. First of all we’ve updated group characteristics. Now you can create not only public groups but also private and personal ones.

Any user can request invite into a private group. But only after he receives your permission he’ll become a full member of the so-called closed affinity group.

There’s also a possibility to create personal group. No one except you can see and add stickers to this group; you’re the only member and the owner. This is very convenient if you have some useful information to “stick”, but don’t have time to read it right now.

Another change affected crossposting: besides Facebook and Twitter you can also import Friendfeed, Evernote and Livejournal accounts.

Profile feed will be updated automatically on these services using your stickers. Thus, you don’t need to spend lot of time updating all of your profiles and your friends can easily track your activity and leave comments to the articles they liked.

Latest changes in the widget for Webmasters. The changes affected user side. We have launched new pop-up sidebar to make the life easier for the visitors of your site. The widget's sidebar now contains the list of the stickers left on the current page so the users do not have to scan the page to read all the sticky notes as it was before. Besides the users do not need to go to official stickr.com to be up-to-date with all the latest and most popular posts since Top Rated, Latest, Active tabs are included in the sidebar itself. Thus the visitors will not leave your site to get the latest information on Stickr.com Enjoy!

Latest updates:

We have updated the font so the site should become more easy to read.
Multiline option has been added to the comments section. Ctrl-Enter can now be used to post the comment.
And some minor adjustments have been made as usually.

To make your time with Stickr.com even more pleasant we have included blacklisting. If you do not like the stickers of any particular user you can easily block them by adding the user to your blacklist. This choice is reversible and you can whitelist the user anytime.

Hello everybody! We hope that you have already mentioned some new features we have launched recently. Still we want to tell more about them. Lack the opportunity to post without Stickr plugin or Bookmarklet?

We know that there was no opportunity to add anything to your feed without using Stickr.com Plugin or Bookmarklet. Of course it was a matter of our concern and we were working on it and that's it: now there is a special form above the feed enables to express what's on your mind quickly and effectively. Let alone the ability to share pictures, video and audio files, quotations and links.

We were excited to launch this particular feature since this step turns Stickr.com into blog system including all the advanced functions it usually demands.

We thoroughly planned layout for the form to be at quick access without distracting the attention from the feed. Thus it was decided to place it above the feed itself : To make it even more neat we get additional options hidden in a popup menu. But as soon as you place the cursor in the text form the icons appears at once! Full range of objects to add: - quotations - images (upload it from you PC or point out global link or find it on Flickr) - links - video files (insert embed code or find it on YouTube or Vimeo at once) - music files from the PC

Tag Cloud.

You will always know what is on top of discussion in the Stickr.com world. We have created a new block "Titles" that organizes most popular topics (by key words used by other users) all over the Stickr.com according to the frequency.

While top rated stickers are listed depending on average evaluation by other users, "Titles" list includes most popular "tags" used in stickers.

After login the block can be found in user's sidebar.
We have considered it convenient to place this information on the main page as well. The most popular topics are available not only for 24 hours, but for 7 or 30 days also.
